Tata Nexon EV Max India Launch Highlights: Price, Features, Specs, Pictures
Tata Motors launched the new long-range Nexon EV Max in India today, and we’ve got all the highlights from the launch event, here. The updated electric subcompact SUV comes with a bigger 40.5kWh battery and an extended ARAI-certified range of 437km, plus a bunch of new features. The Nexon EV is currently one of India’s best-selling electric four-wheelers, however, the automaker believes there is still some anxiety among its customers. And to solve this problem, the company introduces the long-range model.

The Tata Nexon EV Max is powered by a permanent magnet synchronous AC motor paired with a larger 40.5kWh lithium-ion battery. The engine offers 141 hp and 250 Nm of maximum torque. The Nexon EV Max goes from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 9 seconds, with a top speed electronically limited to 140 km/h.

In terms of features, the new Tata Nexon EV Max comes with a new Makaran interior, ventilated front seats, wireless phone charger, jewel control button with display, air purifier, smartwatch integration and cruise control, among others. As for safety, the Nexon EV Max comes with 4 disc brakes, ESP, Hill Hold and Hill Descent Control, dual airbags, emergency stop light, rollover mitigation, brake disc wipers, ISOFIX and more. The Nexon EV Max also comes with a multi-mode regeneration feature.
Visually, the new long-range Tata Nexon EV Max will remain largely identical to the regular model, however, the SUV is available in an exclusive new Intensi-Teal color, as well as Daytona Gray and Pristine White. All Nexon EV Max variants will come standard in two-tone colors.
