Stephen Hyde named cyclo-cross coach in the United States

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado – Based on Stephen Hyde announced his retirement earlier this year, he joined USA Cycling as a coach for the 2022 Walmart UCI World Championships in Fayetteville, Ark. His skills and abilities as a coach were immediately apparent, and Hyde has now officially joined USA Cycling as the national cyclocross team coach.

“I’m so excited to finally be able to give back to an organization that has given me so much throughout my career,” Hyde said. “Watching the CX program grow by leaps and bounds over the past few years has given me even more motivation to be a part of it. good and lasting to our sport of CX. I have the utmost confidence in everyone working behind the scenes and I can’t wait to see where we end up.

Hyde cemented his name on the American cyclocross scene as one of the best elite men the country has ever had. He raced for from 2015 to 2020 where he won three Elite National Championships and two Pan American Continental Championships. Throughout his career, he competed in 30 World Cups and six consecutive UCI Cyclocross World Championships for Team USA.
