Cambridge Police have summoned a Cambridge resident for leaving the scene causing property damage, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and motor vehicle misconduct. After making an incorrect turn onto Ellery Street from Massachusetts Avenue, the operator backed into another motor vehicle traveling west on Massachusetts Ave. The accident caused minor damage to the front passenger side fender of the victim’s car. The operator then left the scene of the accident. The victim was able to describe the vehicle, observe the license plate and the driver of the vehicle. Further investigation revealed that the registered owner had a suspended Massachusetts driver’s license and matched the description of the operator offered by the victim. Therefore, he will be summoned to Cambridge District Court for the above offences.
